This week we had A LOT of activities. On Tuesday we had chess and learned about the bishop.  We also began some more art, and we learned about pointillism. Its basically just a normal drawing but with only dots. Mine was a bit different… ok a lot different.  We also met an author that made “Its Ok To Go Up The Slide”, and many other books I don’t know of. But anyways, you know how we were working on application letters, soooooooooooooooooo we were finally given an answer, and… we failed.

So actually, we got in the team which was cool, and next week we will get to design a rocket! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Its gonna be soooo much fun! Well, that’s it for this week! (Real ending now)

This week was basically like last week, except this week, we had to write the finals for the philotimo essay, the application letter, biopoems, and… I think that’s it. We also did scholastic science and made a poster about it. This blog is kinda short since it was mainly about finishing up the papers that we wrote last week soooooooo yeah.

This week we got a letter from the Office of Extrasolar Exploration. We were nominated to be part of Operation Orpheus, which is an operation where we will be helping establish a colony on another world. We had to write an application letter in order to be part of the team. We also had a philotimo essay on our list as well. We also went to the library to get some research books. If you know me, then you know that I loooooooovvvveeee space, so when I came out of the library, I had huge books and was planning to research as much as I could. So through out the week, we have been writing(typing) a lot. Just a little while ago, while typing this, Godzilla showed us how he yawns. It was pretty cool. We also opened our coffee shop(Coffeezilla) today, and we made like $30! I think this is about it for this this week soooooo…

Hello! I’m back again. This week we read another article called “Diary of a Martian” on Scholastic Math. We had some complicated math and it was very fun being challenged mentally. We began working on 3D models based on “The Next Great Paulie Fink”, which was the book that we read. We also did biopoems. For anyone reading this and doesn’t know what it is, a biopoem is a biography, but in a poem. Bio-poem. If anyone wants to read my poems, you can go check them out here!

As you all know, this has been the first (full) week of school. Soooooooo, here I am to make a blog about it. On Monday, we were assigned 2 things. A puppy debate, and a drawing with at least 2 sketches. We read a Scholastic Math article called “Robot Dog Vs. Real Dog” which is an article that is about whether or not a robot dog is better than a real dog. We also read an article about an artist named Wayne Thiebaud. We were learning about how he makes different sketches and chooses the one that he likes best, then he makes the actual thing based on the sketch. We decided to use his technique and draw something with at least 2 sketches.  I drew a picture of “Crocodile Airlines”. I found a crocodile Lego while playing around with Lego’s, I gave it wings and Crocodile Airlines was born. The crocodile has a croissant and it works as fuel for Crocodile Airlines. If by any chance the croissant is dropped, the plane comes crashing down. I made my first sketch and was very dissatisfied because it looked really bad. I tried another angle and was amazed at my second sketch. I later traced the 2nd sketch and made it look more professional. (I also made a little quote, here it is) “Crocodile Airlines.
